ARTIST PROFILE

Lucca Feracota is a multifaceted vocalist, band leader, composer and producer. His style and repertoire transcends genres with original arrangements of beloved songs plus new compositions of Jazz, Soul, Blues and Adult Rock.

Lucca and his superb band, the Sons of Chicago, touch the soul and pack the dance floor with shimmering live performances.


INFLUENCES

Inspired by Springsteen, George Benson, Sinatra, Santana, Doobie Brothers, Allman Brothers, Van Morrison, Joe Cocker, Earth Wind & Fire, and other greats, Lucca and the band put their unique, high-energy spin on the classics and deliver dynamic, original compositions.

TRIBUTE PROJECTS 

Lucca & the Sons of Chicago also pay tribute to several of the most renowned contemporary and historic artists of our world.

Beginning Summer of 2024, Lucca & the Sons of Chicago will perform the music of two iconic American artists of the common man -- Bruce Springsteen and Bob Seger together -- in a much anticipated series of rocking concerts around Chicago.

Debuting December of 2024 as an extension of his holiday album, Lucca's show "Sinatra Big Band Music of the Holiday & New Year" brings sixteen superb musicians together to perform classic and contemporary holiday songs and energetic music of the Sinatra era.


ALBUM RELEASES

Lucca released the holiday jazz album "Merry Christmas Baby" featuring reharmonizations by the brilliant composers Tom Mueller and Andy Baker, and Master Sax Man Eric Schneider. 

Lucca has also recorded original Blues and Adult Contemporary Rock works with the Blue Roots.

EDUCATION

Lucca is a graduate of the Berklee Collage of Music in Boston where he earned a Masters Degree in Songwriting and Composition with Distinction. 

He also holds a Masters Degree from the University of Chicago
and Bachelors Degree from Northern Illinois University.
